Gill's Powerboat School is a specialist in powerboating – we are an established RYA training centre running the full range of RYA Powerboat courses. We are based in Padstow, Cornwall and run courses throughout the year in all weathers.

Our clients range from complete beginners just starting out in boating to those who have been boating for years – we make sure the course is pitched at your level of experience so that you get the most from your time on the water.

And it’s great value for money too – talk to us for any special offers that may be running when you want to do your course.

Many of our private clients are developing their powerboating skills for their own pleasure or for providing safety cover for events, for example. We also train many commercial users from governmental agencies (e.g. the Fire Service) to maritime companies who use their powerboating skills professionally, and corporate clients who use powerboating for client entertaining and team building.

Our business was founded on a passion for watersports in all their forms and a desire to keep our waters safe for everyone by developing the skills and experience of powerboat drivers. Our instructors are experienced professionals who share our passion to help others enjoy their boating – and we look forward to sharing our enthusiasm with you.

As a RYA training centre we adhere to strict operating and safety standards and we are regularly inspected to ensure we continue to exceed these standards. Customer satisfaction and professionalism are fundamental principles in our business – much of our custom comes from word of mouth recommendation so it is important to us that our clients enjoy themselves.
